The majority of students begin by studying four subjects in the Lower Sixth. These will be examined internally at the end of the Lower Sixth year and students may decide to continue with four subjects in the Upper Sixth or to drop one subject.
About 10% of students at King’s traditionally complete A Levels in four subjects.
A level courses will not run if fewer than two students opt for a particular subject.
A reduced timetable will be put in place if between 2 and 4 students opt for that subject.
